Our kits are designed to overcome common barriers in Kenya’s diagnostic landscape—offering rapid, multi-pathogen testing without the need for centralized laboratory infrastructure. Results are delivered on-site, in real time, helping healthcare workers make immediate treatment decisions. In areas where PCR and lab-based systems are costly, delayed, or out of reach, we provide a faster, more accessible solution—often 2–5 times more cost-effective per test. This makes our kits ideal for scaling national screening programs, supporting mobile clinics, and expanding access across both urban and rural communities.

Available Test Kits in Kenya

The following Be Sure Diagnostics kits are fully registered and available in Kenya:

  • Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) Antigen Rapid Test

Aids in the diagnosis of cervical pre-cancer or cancer including types 6, 11, 16, 18, 31, 33, 45, 52 and 58 (L1), and cervical precancer or cancer including types 16 and 18 (E7).

How it Works: A healthcare worker collects a swab cervical sample. The sample is then prepared with the provided buffers and applied to the test cassette. Within 15-30 minutes, the assay detects the presence of high-risk strains of HPV linked to
cervical cancer.

Sensitivity: 98.56%, Specificity: 98.77%

  • Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) Rapid Test

Aids in the detection of elevated Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) levels in blood, which may indicate prostate disorders such as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), prostatitis, or prostate cancer. PSA is a protein produced by the prostate gland and is the most widely used biomarker for prostate cancer screening and monitoring.

How it Works: A small blood sample (whole blood, serum, or plasma) is collected and applied to the test cassette. The sample reacts with PSA-specific antibodies within the device.
Within 15–30 minutes, the test visually indicates PSA concentration through coloured lines, providing a rapid preliminary assessment of PSA levels.

Sensitivity: 99%, Specificity: 95%

  • HIV, HBsAg & HCV Combo Test

Detects: Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), Hepatitis B Virus (HBV), Hepatitis C Virus (HCV)

How it Works: A small finger-prick blood sample is collected using the included lancet. The sample is applied to the test cassette with a buffer solution. Results for all three infections appear within 10 minutes—no laboratory equipment needed.

  • Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) Urine Rapid Test

Aids in the detection of Human Papillomavirus (HPV) infection through urine analysis. HPV is a common viral infection that affects the skin and mucous membranes and is associated with the development of cervical cancer and other HPV-related diseases. The test detects biomarkers associated with HPV infection that correlate with cervical HPV activity, including high-risk HPV types 16, 18, 31, 33, 35, 39, 45, 51, 52, 56, 58, 59 and 66, as well as certain low-risk types such as 6 and 11.

How it Works:

A urine sample is collected using the provided container. The test device is either immersed in the urine sample or exposed to the urine stream according to the instructions. Within 10–15 minutes, the device indicates the presence of HPV associated markers through a colour change in the result window, allowing for rapid screening.
